平成28年　熊本地震について( Regarding the Kumamoto Earthquake)

この度、熊本地方を中心に起きました熊本地震におきまして、沢山のお祈りをありがとうございます。

この辺り周辺でも震度5強の大きな揺れを観測しましたが、今のところ、水、電気などのライフラインは保たれており、大きな混乱等はありません。

ですが、被害が大きかった地域では、長期間にわたる避難生活が予想されます。

ここから通常であれば1時間ほどの距離の熊本市内でも、甚大な被害が出ており、ニュースでも取り上げられるように、救援物資も不足し現場は緊迫した状態です。

近隣の皆様、またお心のある方からの~~物資提供~~、支援金のご協力をお願いします。

現在、配送などが大変滞っておりますが、私たちのところからであれば、市内まで物資を届ける事が可能です。

近隣の教会と協力し、拠点となっている熊本ハーべストチャーチを通して、被災された方々に届けます。

As you know, recently an earthquake has struck the center of the Kumamoto region in Japan. Thank you for all your prayers concerning this disaster in Japan.

In this area, the earthquake registered with a magnitude of 5, and currently water, electricity, and other necessities are still available.

Regardless of this, there are areas that have received a great deal of damage, and we believe that daily life there will be difficult for quite some time.

Traveling from Ariake about an hour into Kumamoto City, you will encounter a great amount of damage, and as is being seen in the news, relief supplies are in short supply causing a strain on the people there.

To our neighbors, and to anyone who would like to get involved, we are asking for supplies and financial support for the afflicted people in the region.

Right now, the shipping of supplies from outside is very difficult because of the blocked roads in the area, but it is possible to send supplies that reach the city through us.

Through the cooperation of the neighbourhood and the church, and through Kumamoto Harvest Church, which is acting as a shelter within the city, the people that have been affected in this disaster are being helped by receiving supplies and support.

We ask you all for your cooperation and support.

4/19現在、支援物資が続々と届けられています。本当にありがとうございます。

届けられた物資は、ここから熊本ハーベストチャーチ（〒860-0051 熊本県熊本市西区二本木4丁目9−35）に搬送し、そこからボランティア団体の指揮のもと、必要なものを必要な場所に届けています。

5/15をもちまして、支援物資の受付は終了させていただきました。
